My sketchy-ish tribute to BBC’s Doctor Who, in honor of the new season starting this weekend! <3 <3 I never paint actors, so this was a huge challenge--took quite a lot of staring at and sketching episode stills before I could get his face and outfit semi-right, and this isn't as polished as I would like it to be, but I don't have any more time to spend on it. The Eleventh Doctor, with Gallifrey and Earth in his hands, and lots of swirly starry stuff. Just a bit of generic fanart to get the feel of drawing Eleven, and I wanted to try a bit of orange/purple contrast. Doctor Who is copyright BBC and all that.
