Just a quick update to let everyone know that I am still working hard on my Kickstarter campaign for the “MeadowHaven” fantasy coloring book for adults, and that it is nearly ready to be launched! I’ve sent a proof file of the coloring book to two local printers for a test print to determine quality and any final adjustments to be made to the book, as well as the final price quote and which printer I will hire for the job. The only things left to be finished for the campaign are the preview image graphics and some manner of video.

After a lot of hard work and research, I am close to being done with my coloring book! It will be 50+ pages of my original fantasy line-art, printed single-sided on heavy paper that will stand up to inks and markers and even light watercolors, with perforated pages so they can be easily removed for coloring or framing. There will also be a digital version of the book available through Kickstarter and later through Etsy.

This will be my very first Kickstarter campaign, and even after the amount of research I’ve put into it, I still feel so daunted by the prospect! It’s exciting, though, and I know that the end result will be worth it. It has taken me a lot longer to get to this point than I had hoped, but I’ve only been able to work on this in small increments between my job and life and other projects. I hope that there is still enough interest in my artwork to finally bring this huge book into reality!

-My “Woodland Fantasy” coloring book magazine is now completely sold out and permanently out of stock. It was a limited run monthly issue of UK’s Colouring Heaven magazine. Those of you who managed to pick up a copy over the holidays, I hope you will enjoy coloring the pages! It means a great deal to me that it sold so quickly, and I am still looking into other more solid publishing options for a proper coloring book.
