Kumoricon was a blast this year, and I look forward to seeing you all again next year! It is always a wonderful experience, and pulls me out of my shell for a few hours. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat or to buy artwork, and I hope you all had as much fun as I did (despite the lighting and air-conditioning issues in the garage)! :)

I won’t be home until this next weekend to catch up on e-mails and orders (and sleep), and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Also, commissions are closed for the time being–way too much on my worklist at present to accomodate anything else for the next month or two! Many apologies, and thank you all for your patience and understanding!

Just a note: If you would like your print order to be hand-signed by me before it is shipped, please request so in the note when you place an order through the Meadowhaven Store. I would be happy to oblige! :)

How much would you charge me to use a book cover sized piece of “Dark Warrior” for a free fantasy short story? I would credit you of course. Search “M R Mathias” on amazon that is me. I don’t have a large budget because it is a free short story, but for $50 I sure would use it and get you some solid attention from people who buy art for book covers.

Thank you for writing and for your interest! However, this image has already been printed in several publications and is also available for sale on merchandise unrelated to any story. I do not wish to license it as generic cover art, nor to give the impression that my personal artwork is random and can be used to portray someone else’s ideas in exchange for money. I do accept commission work to create book covers specifically tailored for clients, but I don’t sell my own work for publication outside its original intended purpose. Thank you again for asking, though, and I wish you all the best with your stories! :)
