Mysterious and hostile, Valance is something of an enigma to the rest of his kind. Unlike most Shaftans, he roves constantly from place to place, seemingly uninterested in finding a mate or settling down. His strange and sometimes violent tendencies lead many to believe that he is part BlackWing. Sometimes referred to as the “Spotted Wanderer,” he is often seen perching on rooftops in the early mornings, watching the activity of the city below, though he rarely ventures down to mingle with the commonfolk.
