First off, I want to thank all of you for your comments and requests for more Doctor Who artwork–I love and appreciate every single one! I dearly wish I had more time to spend on fanart, but the truth is I simply can’t afford to work on non-paying projects. Art is my sole source of income, and finances are scary tight. Often the only way I can devote time to fanart is if I’m commissioned to do so.

So…if you would like to see more Doctor Who artwork from me, maybe…perhaps…consider donating to the cause? Even small donations will give me a little bit of time to work on ideas as part of my work schedule, rather than something I have to keep pushing further back on my list because it doesn’t pay bills. ^__^;;

With the arrival of the Season 7 finale of “Doctor Who,” my emotions and inspiration are out of control, and I appear to be able to do nothing but sketch and paint Doctor Who-related ideas. I’m desperately hoping this streak will run its course within the next week so I can go back to performing normal tasks again—like working on commissions, sleeping and actually eating something.

I just have to share this: Reptangle! The most charming, whimsical, beautiful, clever, hilarious, and just plain wonderful graphic novel I have ever read! The artist is most known for her gorgeous Windstone Edition sculptures, but it appears she is talented in many, many areas. I am so in love with this comic I can’t even properly express… She updates weekly, so be sure to check back often for new pages. (she also has a DA gallery here) If she were ever to release this story in hard-copy, I would camp outside for a week just to be sure to get my hands on one. I am properly fascinated, captivated and just…wow. All my love. All of it. *gestures wildly* Go read now! Go! Why are you still here??!

Still figuring things out, but I’ve posted a handful of artwork, and more to come! I’ll only be posting my best art from years past, as well as new and recent pieces. I’ve been encouraged to join Facebook, too, but…AUGH. Facebook frightens me! There’s just too much going on, I can’t even figure out half of it, and I’m easily overwhelmed. I don’t know. Thoughts, advice…?
