    ~Story~
The only child of King Meliek, Shion is a persuasive, adventurous woman with a strong belief in providence. She survived Ryvan’s massacre of the royal family by the bravery of her father’s war general, Nomi, and her guardian Kaiit, who would give his life for her. Reduced to the harsh life of a hunted fugitive with the battered remnants of her father’s devastated army, she relied on her skills as an archer and her faith that the Rover would send an Echana to raise a revolt for freedom. She never quite expected that the foretold Chosen One would be Falen, a lame and rebellious boy who shied at shadows and suffered from nightmares, or that she would eventually fall in love with such an unlikely hero. But like Falen, she is a rebel, and even after the defeat of Ryvan and the liberation of her kingdom, she refuses to return to the dull, self-absorbed manner of life she had once known as a princess. Her father had been a weak and spoiled ruler and easily overthrown, but her fiery spirit and willful determination assures that she will not make the same mistakes.

A year after she reclaims her throne she marries Falen, a decision met with equal amounts of delight and criticism from her peers, and eagerly proclaims the dawn of a new era for her people. She sees personally to the restoration of her kingdom, particularly the farms and her own palace gardens, and enjoys working in the company of her people. She is no stranger to toil and sacrifice, and shuns all luxury in favor of practicality. Nothing distracts her from her goal to erase all reminders of war and degradation from her kingdom, to awaken the ravaged land of Avenan and heal its scars. Together with a new council formed by the handful of knights that had remained loyal to her during the war, she endeavors to maintain order in the wonderful chaos of budding prosperity, and to ensure that the fragile, hopeful new peace that hovers over Silon will always endure.
